Return of Wrenn School!!

Day 1:

Today, Wrenn School came back for its fourth year of Science@Saints! Fourteen gifted Year 10 students are taking part in three days of science and sports related activities.

Ready for your close-up, Bernie?

The morning kicked off (kicked off, get it?!) with a quick photoshoot with Bernie, the club mascot. The Wrenn top models then used their photos to create colourful name badges, so old man Pete could remember their names! (Only joking Pete!)

There is no ‘I’ in Team

The group made their way to the Heroes Bar to take part in a morning of team building activities. Four groups of four (including the brilliant Zoe and Miss Morris), competed in a series of games. They had to make a drain pipe run, balance tennis balls whilst blindfolded, plus several other (exhausting) games!

We were all thoroughly exhausted after the session, which was won by Team 4, who beat all the other teams by nearly 200 points! Well done, Team 4! Team 4 were rewarded with a cream egg each !!!

A Challenging Club

After a recuperating drink and biscuit, the Wrenn fourteen designed their own sports club, including designing a stadium, club kit and chants for the fans.

A great day for all involved, and we can’t wait for tomorrow!

“Today was great, I never knew how hard it was to create a new rugby club!”

“AMAZING” “It was amazing” “FIVE STARS – The Independant”
